Every project we do is user-centric by design. That means that the user is always center stage in every design, technology, and data choice that is made. To do this, we begin our work with a thorough user research stage to understand what they are looking for, how they use data, and how this information can be designed into an intuitive and beautiful experience.
Once the user research is complete and all the requirements are laid out, we begin the interface design. The design is always informed by three main principles: (1) intuitive design for the end user, (2) easily understood data and information, and (3) an experience that users will want to return to. Our designs are simple, beautiful, and help transform your data into action.
BigMapping is technology neutral. We don’t discriminate between geospatial platforms. Rather, we advise and implement the geospatial platform that best suits the needs for the project. We work closely with partners from all major geospatial companies as well as the open-source community.
Everything that matters to you and your organization happens somewhere.
Maps allow us to see where and when they happen to help you navigate the data that matters most to you, your clients, your organization, and the world.
BigMapping is a design and development firm that helps organizations implement geospatial technology solutions to capture their data and visualize it in meaningful ways. Because data can be complicated, we utilize a user-centric design approach that firmly places the end-user as the guiding principle around which all technology and design choices are made. We are technology neutral meaning that we work with the geospatial platform that is best suited to the needs of our clients, including open-source applications.
